On October 30th, “The Mandalorian” returned to Disney+ with a big surprise. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but I will say some hints are strategically placed throughout the episode.
In the premiere, The Mando and The Child venture to Tatooine in search for another Mandalorian. There they encounter Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), a self-appointed lawman who is donning the armor of long-departed bounty hunter Boba Fett.
The two men team up to help Tusken raiders to kill an always hungry Sarlacc. “Star Wars” fans will recall that in “Return of The Jedi” fan favorite Boba Fett was pushed into the mouth of a Sarlacc by a blind Han Solo.
“The Mandalorian” did not disappoint in its return. The space western was filled with lots of high stake adventure. It was nice to return to Tatooine where the Skywalker saga first began. In an episode full of Easter eggs, the return of a familiar droid was one that made me smile.

The ending of the episode promises an exciting second season for fans of the Emmy winning series.
