Fox will debut the new comedy series “Call Me Kat” on January 3. The series stars Emmy nominee Mayim Bialik as Kat, a 39 year old single woman who opens a cat cafe with the money her parents intended on using for her wedding.
The series also stars Swoosie Kurtz, Kyla Pratt, Cheyenne Jackson and Leslie Jordan. Jim Parsons, who starred with Bialik on “The Big Bang Theory” serves as executive producer through his production company.
The series is based on a popular British sitcom called “Miranda”.
