CBS will premiere the long anticipated Queen Latifah reboot of “The Equalizer” on Sunday, February 7 following the Super Bowl.
The following Sunday, the series moves into its regular time slot, 8pm EST.
In “The Equalizer” Queen Latifah stars as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.
Joining Latifah in the cast are Lorraine Toussaint, Chris Noth and Adam Goldberg.
CBS ran the original “The Equalizer” from 1985-1989, starring Edward Woodward.
This is a great vehicle for Queen Latifah and I’m looking forward to watching.
