The CW dropped a short teaser showing the new “Batwoman” transforming into her costume.

Javicia Leslie assumed the role for the series’ second season after Ruby Rose departed at the end of season one.

“Batwoman” returns on Sunday January 1. Leslie will play Ryan Wilder who becomes Gotham’s new Batwoman with a brand new origin story.
