Synergy, synergy, synergy. That’s the name of the game over at Viacom.
As the media conglomerate continues to emphasize cross-promotion, BET will air episodes of three popular CBS series.
The cable network will air “The Neighborhood”, “Bob❤️Abishola”, and “All Rise” on Friday November 13 starting at 8pm EST. BET sister network BET Her will also air these episodes.
Here’s a breakdown of the episodes that will air:
The Neighborhood (8-8:30 PM) will air the “Welcome to Soul Food” episode, originally broadcast on Oct. 21, 2019. In it, the Butlers and Johnsons decide to go on a double-date and everyone gets more than they bargained for at a new restaurant; and Grover invites Malcolm and Marty to be the first guests on his new podcast. The series stars Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Beth Behrs, Tichina Arnold, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears and Hank Greenspan.
Bob ♥ Abishola “Canadians of Africa” episode (8:30-9 PM), originally broadcast on Jan. 20, 2020, Abishola doesn’t appreciate it when Bob gives her unsolicited parenting advice about her “unhappy son.” The series, from Chuck Lorre and Gina Yashere, stars Billy Gardell, Folake Olowofoyeku, Christine Ebersole, Matt Jones, Maribeth Monroe, Vernee Watson, Shola Adewusi, Barry Shabaka Henley, Travis Wolfe, Jr., and Gina Yashere.
All Rise (9-10 PM) will air the pilot episode, originally broadcast on September 23, 2019. The series stars Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Marg Helgenberger, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez and Ruthie Ann Miles.
