This week marks the penultimate episode of Insecure’s fourth season.
Last week’s episode of Insecure was a love letter to fans as we got a romcom episode featuring only Issa and Lawrence. I’m not going to recap this episode because if you haven’t seen it yet, you should, immediately.
I will say this episode was beautifully written by series producer and co-star Natasha Rothwell (Kelli). It’s also beautifully directed and shot. Like all of Insecure’s episodes it has a cinematic look and feel but this episode just feels extra special.
What I will say is that this episode put Issa and Lawrence in a new space and we’re all excited to know what the next steps will be.
In this week’s upcoming episode, Issa and Molly finally have their long awaited meetup. Will the two work to repair their relationship or call it quits for good? We’ll have to watch to find out.
