NBC has handed Dick Wolf’s LAW & ORDER: SVU a renewal for season 20!
Over the years the show, more commonly referred to as SVU has seen many cast changes but original series stars Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T have been a constant presence for the run of the series.
The series will tie the record for longest-running show EVER with parent series LAW & ORDER and classic western GUNSMOKE.
It was a banner day for Mr. Wolf as NBC also renewed all three Chicago set dramas CHICAGO FIRE, CHICAGO PD and CHICAGO MED.
While I don’t watch SVU live, I do enjoy catching up on the show on VOD.
